FAQ's

If I work with you regularly will I have an Account Manager?

Yes. We have an Account Manager as a dedicated contact for every one of our Account Customers. They will work with you on every aspect of your job, from quotes, advice through to delivery. We also have customer service contacts to assist you.

How can I send artwork?

You can provide a disc, email artwork or we can access it from your FTP. We also have an FTP drop-box for supplying large files. Ask for more information. Alternatively we are happy for you to pop in to our offices and we can take artwork from a memory stick or drive.

What format should I supply artwork?

See our Artwork tips within the Useful Info section for full details.

Will I get a proof?

For all litho work we supply a proof, either a hard copy high quality laser proof or a PDF proof by email. If you require a proof for digital print just ask when you place your order. If you are producing a large exhibition we can produce the full artwork as an A2 proof so you can check colours etc.

What are your turnaround times?

For short-run digital print such as leaflets and business cards our lead time is usually up to 3 days. Display graphics and exhibition stands are usually completed within about 2-3 days. Litho print is dispatched within 5-10 working days, dependant upon the job and workload. The complexity of the job and artwork will however affect lead times. If you require your work faster, while you wait or the same day, just let us know and we will always aim to deliver within your required deadline.

Do you hold artwork in archive?

Yes. We save final artwork to our archive system but we cannot guarantee to have all files. We need the date of when it was produced to source it again.

Can I set up an invoicing account with you?

Yes of course. Contact us for an Account Application form which you can email, fax or post back to us. Subject to a satisfactory credit check or trade references we will set up your account. We usually require payment by cash/card for your first job. Our invoicing accounts are standard 30 days payment.

Can I pay by card?

Yes. We have card machines you can use over the phone or in our branches.

Do you charge for delivery?

Local collection & deliveries are free for our account customers. We charge for overnight deliveries or same day couriers, which we can confirm a price for. Timed deliveries before 10am, 12pm and Saturday deliveries & split deliveries are available.

What about VAT?

We have to conform to Inland Revenue guidelines on VAT. Not all charity work is VAT exempt. It depends on the type of print produced. If you need to know just contact us and we can advise you.

Can you use plain packaging to send directly to my customer?

Yes. Our jobs are packaged in plain boxes with plain tape. If you wish us to package your items with your own branded tape please supply it to us.
